Our History

In 2009, Pastor Finny John and family were used as instruments by God for laying the foundations of a prayer gathering in High Wycombe, Bucks. The gathered believers prayed for the needy and the suffering. It was initially a service focussed at the malayalee congregation. After initial delays in the addition of members to the congregation, God opened ways where new families relocated to High Wycombe. These family members also gathered for regular prayer meetings. In 2010, the prayer group was named ‘Wycombe Prayer Centre’. The congregation decided to go forward in affiliation with the Church of God group in UK.
Over the years God expanded the congregation in terms of number. In June 2014, with views to expand the services of the congregation within UK and abroad, it was decided for seeking a registration within UK. In November 2014, the service was registered as a charity (Charity number: 1159065) under the name ‘Gospel for Nations’ (GFN). It was a God given vision to help and support the needy as well as spread values for moulding better citizens for the nation. People from varied backgrounds and nationalities started to attend the services. Under GFN, the Lord enables to organise various activities to help the communities, run music classes, kingdom kids, ladies gatherings, family get together, musical events, day outings, biblical study classes, career guidance and character developing activities.
The activities of the trust are governed by a board of trustees.
